The Holiday Inn Express Hickory, Hickory Mart had a lovely inviting lobby with comfortable seating, making it an easy place for seniors to relax and enjoy their time. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive during our stay.

The room also boasted comfy beds and a clean vibe that made relaxing easy after a day of testing local eats. Plus, the convenient grab-and-go options meant we could snack on the road.

Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff was disruptive, knocking loudly and disregarding the Do Not Disturb sign. Additionally, I was surprised that previous membership status perks were not honored during check-in, which was disappointing.
